All I want is to see Beyond Good & Evil 2 on the Wii. And it's possible if Ubisoft is smart enough to make it...

 I'm not excited.They've already said that they're going to make it more "casual".And we all know what Ubisoft think "casual" means.Type the name of the game plus casual in Google to see for yourself.

The new gamers who don't know anything however will buy out of ignorance and realize too late that their purchase was rubbish with Ubisoft clinging onto the cash.

I'm looking at some of their shovelware in the charts right now and they're just not selling. So I don't think you have to worry about new gamers because most people are steering clear in the first place.

Raving Rabbids was supposed to be a platformer but Ubi butchered it at the last minute, removed all traces of Rayman 4 and just left the minigames. Considering how opposed they were to a real Rayman game at the time, I don't see what would have happened between now and then that would convince them to actually put forth the effort. It's not going to happen. At least not during this generation. I'll be floored if they do show that kind of competence, but BG&E2 was probably one miracle too many.

@ClaudeLV250: Well on a Dutch news site and a french one they said they were speaking about it on UBi days(this year UBI days) that the next one would be platform game...Well I can only hope it is true :).

i am the owner of an "HD" console, the PS3, and i understand what you feel.

Rainbow Six Vegas 1 was a half-assed port.
Rainbow six Vegas 2 had major online problems, and it killed the fun for me.
Blazing Angels was average at best.
Splinter Cell: Double Agent was yet another half-assed port.
Haze had all that hype building up for it, yet it turned out to be a below average FPS.
And worst of all, Ubisoft unleashed the horrors of "lost:the game" and "Beowulf" on the world.


I will support your boycott!!!! And i will spread the word to not buy Ubisoft games!

meh, I like Ubisoft, so I will continue to buy the their games.
You can go a head and miss out on some good Ubi games if you like, and all the power to you, but would it not be smarter to simply buy the good Ubi games and not the bad one?

Money speaks, so if good games sell, then they'll continue to make the good games, unfortunately the same is true for bad games that sell well, so in reality the only thing you should do is boycott the bad games, while enjoying the good one.

What good ones? We are talking about boycotting their wii games. There are no good ubisoft games for the wii.

 Interesting to read that. At least, we now that Ubisoft is a terrible company with only a few good teams.
