Well granted they are not at the top of my list :)

A POP game made purely for the Wii and a separate version of a Snowboarding game that uses the balance board might be interesting, the question is will they put any effort into it and a screen shot isn't exactly enough to tell me.....anything. At least it's better then PS2 ports. 

They haven't announced all there games yet, including Red Steal 2, I think we can at least wait till E3 to see what they have instore for Wii gamers.

If you really want to see how these games are you can just play their DS brethren. After all, this is just DS shovelware getting dumped onto the Wii.

I heard the PoP spinoff was going to be based off of Rival Swords' controls. Those aren't exactly acclaimed. 

 


Where did you hear about the control system of the PoP game? Link?

As for Quality, it has to be judged on a game by game basis.

Surely you can just as easily assume that the Xbox360 and PS3 games will also be shovelware if we are going to jump between platforms? 

The "imagine series" is not aimed at this forums demographic and should be ignored as we have no basis to judge it's Quality. I wouldn't stop buying Valve games if they suddenly started ALSO making Sim games that appeal to girls while continuing to produce great FPS games.

Games such as PoP, Snowboarding, RRR3 and RedSteel 2 are what are under discussion now. In the end if Ubisoft makes bad games they won't sell.

I am not excited for killzone 2, I am not a fanboy of any console,I only buy consoles to play good games I am a gamer not a fanboy.

I am not excited for killzone 2, I am not a fanboy of any console,I only buy consoles to play good games I am a gamer not a fanboy.

I never claimed that you were, I was pointing out that any game in a series can be better or worse then the previous one, and in RedSteel 2's case it's more true then normal as the control scheme should be improved and they have had far more time to work on it then RedSteel which was a launch title. 

On the other hand you have games like Quake 4 which wasn't as good as Quake 3 IMO, Judge every game based on it's own merits.

Not having played RedSteel I can't claim to be waiting with baited breath for it's sequel but nor am I willing to write it off as shovelware as you seem to be implying

I wouldn't mind. Even if the DBZ games are mediocre on average, Atari could use the money more than Ubisoft. 



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Atari is bringing Alone in the Dark for ALL consoles this gen, that's a great example of a company that cares about ALL their customers.
