@merkh66: You celebrated the shit Psymatiq said, you are clearly a troll and like to flamebait users. You always contradict people and you really dont back up anything you say. I honestly think you will get banned pretty soon if you keep it like that.
@sc~: I also reported him, I find it really odd no one banned him, I rather dont say anything else.

In this topic, what have i said that needs backing up? and also should i agree with those whom have a difference of opinion with?
This thread is dying, im going to bed. The fact remains that Ubisoft, despite any promises previously made, sees it in their companies best interest to develop their more hardcore games for the PS360 and continue their shovelware toward the wii.
| Cobretti2 said: Well after reading 7 pages. Here is my view. I would like to see Ubisoft put some EFFORT into a Wii game ie no crappy badly made ports no casual BS. Something that the so called "HARDCORE GAMER" will want to buy. Averaging a Score of 80-90 from major site reviews. IF THAT GAME FAILS TO SELL. THEN THEY CAN COME OUT AND SAY THIS SHIT and NOT BEFORE. |
That is pretty much my feeling on this. Of course that means developers put money on the line, but anyone who thinks that isn't the case with 360/PS3 development is fooling themselves. Of course there are ways to minimize that risk, but why don't those work on the Wii?
As I recall, Ubisoft admitted the imagine series got quite a fair marketing budget. What do you know? Marketing games help sell the games, even on the Wii. Or doesUbisoft think that magically just applies to casual games on the Wii, and for some magical reason, marketing big budget games only works on HD consoles.
EDIT: Correction, the imagine series is on the DS. Yet still, some Wii games had a fair amount of marketing, like RE4 Wii, and RE Umbrella Chronicles. I also remember quite a few ads for both RRR games.
Those 4 games each sold a million. Why chouldn't well marketed big buidget games sell on the Wii?

This guy is a troll for Ubisoft, so I take back all the arguments I made, since he clearly just was trying to do piss poor damage control. Instead, he just made us hate Ubisoft even more.
Some damage control.

And they refused to outright admit it, and used twisted sales data to justify it. So you claiming they are doing nothing wrong is just excusing them. |
Admitting it would only deepen an already bleeding wound. In your eyes they did something wrong, in their eyes they're only looking for money.

Now you are changing your story. Either they don't want to make an effort on the Wii, in which case they should admit they don't want to. Or they only want money, in which case they should try to capitalize on more than just one Wii demographic, because guess what, that would mean more money.
