usually i'd be on the "fake" bandwagon, but there are nothing on these screens that expose anything fake about it. i think it could be real.

The title of this thread does not match the quality of its content.
You should have titled it with "Rumor"

but the in game XMB will no doubt be very similar to that.

The worst part about no in game xmb is when you receive a message or a friend request while playing a game. You have to exit the game to view/accept it.

I think the situation will be rectified before long.

A friend of mine on my friends list says in game xmb will be edit:6/08. I asked him for a link,though im waiting for a response. He doesnt have official proof but he thinks the 18th.
