As you can see, Ubidays is almost over and we never seen Red Steel 2 so far. We never seen even a pic of it. What wii owners got was a port of snowboarding game and butt controlled mini game.

 

This will be a big loss for Ubisoft when holiday season hit when the Wii's sales are in astronomical numbers and the HD market will be shrink completely. Everyone seen how many games Ubi released just for this year in HD consoles so far right?

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

 

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

@colonelstubbs ^ But it is, 45,000-50,000 sales weekly was just like competing with ps2, which is 25,000-30,000 so far.

Red Steel 2 was confirmed in ONM Europe months ago with a teaser advertisement, and IGN has confirmed it to be in production numerous times.

Thread title is extremely misleading...

Red Steel is one of my favorite Wii games, just after Galaxe, Corruption and Brawl. Hope they make a sequel

More of an excuse... I think everyone shouldnt believe entirely on what company says. Ubi already abandoned the Wii and they just want to milk in with their rabbids franchise, which is bad because after 3 the novelty will just fade away.

Maybe ...

It is possible that Red Steel 2 was not shown in favour of showing it at E3 (you never know, they might have worked out a deal with Nintendo for it to be showcased at Nintendo's E3 keynote like Red Steel was) or it could be a 2009 release which would mean that they wouldn't have much motivation to show it off today.
