Ok, first of all! I totally LOVED Beyond good and Evil!

Now that a sequel has been announced I am really hyped for it! And I definitely am going to buy it when it comes out day one!

There are a few things I don't like however or think Ubisoft should've done different:

1 - Why not on Wii?!... Ubisoft, you said you wanted to support the Wii better! Ubisoft, it is you who wanted to put more quality on Wii, now's your chance! And obviously, this game suits better with Nintendo fans then it would with Sony or Microsoft fans.

2 - What's up with the Half Life look?! I'm not trying to be rude here... But for example PIG looks WAY too real for me... I liked the cartoony style, it contributed to the overall feeling of the game... Not going to be prejudiced here but this is kind of a bomb for me because it's the first teaser trailer of the game.

This doesn't look like 'Peij' or 'PIG' from BG&E... :'(...

Oh, and yes: I'll buy this! First day! If it's on PS3, that is.

Platform = PS3, X360, PC. (WTF UBISOFT! WHERE'S YOUR SERIOUS WII SUPPORT, W-T-F!!!).

EDIT: No official announcements on the platforms but Guillemot says the teaser is running on the in-game engine... So yes, HD consoles + PC confirmed. 

IF the first one came out on Wii I'd get it, I always saw the cover for the GC one I think it was and thought it would be dumb.

i'm sorry i stopped reading after the bold part. this game is for gamers (EVERYONE) , not just for "nintendo fanboys". yeah it sucks it didn't get a Wii version, but get over it. 

I really don't care it's not on Wii... I have a PS3 too, but I just think the style (of the first one) and the gameplay looks similar to Zelda in a futuristic way and it has it's own cool gameplay elements, it suits the Nintendo oriented people better, that's just what I'm saying... You don't have to get all psyched up and stuff XD Sjeesh... It's just that this game suits people who like Nintendo games better overall, that's what I'm saying, and the first title didn't sell well... So, I find it odd this isn't coming to Wii! UNDERSTAND?!

Im really happy they are making a sequel. loved the first one. it was a great sleeper game that surprised many people.

I wouldn't consider it a platformer at all its an adventure game. many different elements in its gameplay point to that and the way it story was told.

I agree that this game should be for all platforms like the first was. but you cant blame ubisoft for going the way they are as its easier to have a game be equall across ps3,360 and pc rather then the Wii. The wii version would have to take a hit in res and detail but i doubt that would take away from the fun that these type of games provide. lets just wait for the offical word on platforms as it could still make it onto the wii in some fashion

PS3 + X360 userbase = 31 million + PC

Wii userbase = 26 million 

I don't find it that odd. It did play like zelda, but the first game bombed on both gamecube/ps2/xbox, so i don't see why it suits people who like nintendo games better. Since no one bought the gamecube version.  

Well Ubisoft has a ton of engine support on the PS3/360/PC, so it would see a much, MUCH better software sales range by releasing on those 3.

I think the HD look is very different than the first one, but at the same time I don't find it all that bad :D This game could really benefit from a grand scale world with some HD graphics ^^

Few things:

1) I'm really happy a sequel has been announced, I loved the first game.
2) I don't like the style, far too realistic. The first game had a much more unique art style.
3) I don't understand why it's not a Wii game. I don't mind, I'll buy it anyway, but it seems like a perfect fit for the Wii audience and not so perfect for the PS360. The fist game was a commercial disaster and development costs are far higher on the HD consoles. Stick and photocamera control would also have been perfect for Wii.
4) Ubisoft needs a decent risk manager. A cell-shaded Prince of Persia and now this.
