Huh?

If I read those numbers right, the Wii is virtually on-par with PS360

For software, it is 50M vs. 50M
For hardware, it is 9.5M vs. 9.6M

And they don't include Wii Sports (or VC games) -- making it even more remarkable since I would think a pack-in decreases the need to buy a game.

PS -- Konami just did a Wiiware game -- Critter Corral. So they are supporting at various levels.

The more reason why I think konami isnt serious on the Wii.

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

Konami isn't ditching the Wii. MGS isn't their only franchise. There are rumors of a Castlevania Wii (though this is pretty much certain right now...) and Suikoden VI being on the Wii.

Dont tell it like its confirmed or its barely true, Castlevania was just a rumor, Suikoden VI is more of a wishful thinking like Kingdom Hearts 3.

Suikoden VI and KH3 are whisful thinking? I didn't know pure logic equals wishful thinking. And Castlevania is almost certainly coming to the Wii.

Is the KH3 bet still on? I don't know how many times I've said this, but the lead designer of KH1 and KH2 is doing FF13 Versus right now. I'll let you figure out what that means.

Nomura. Does. Not. Control. Where. Kingdom. Hearts. Goes.

All I'm gonna say. I'm not gonna argue about the "where will KH3 go?" bullshit again.

If it goes anywhere other than the Wii, S-E needs a good solid punch in the face for being completely retarded.

Why, because it might be the only action RPG available? The other consoles will have a higher RPG install base.

1. The Wii is big in Japan. So is KH.

2. Disney characters. I hate to say it but it fits the younger image of the Wii very well.

3. Complete lack of RPGs for the system. It would fill a big void.

4. S-E could use a modified KH2 engine with slightly improved visuals. Save money, speed up development time, everyone is happy. Given the ridiculous amount of time it's taking to get FFXIII out the door, this would be a smart thing to do.

5. Because it just makes sense

How many games have Konami released this generation that aren't on a Nintendo console?

One.

1. The first 2 barely sold over 1 million in Japan. FF will give the PS3 that install base of RPG fans. 2. Disney characters appeal to everyone. Kids don't even know who Sleeping Beauty is. 3. Complete lack of RPGs means that RPG fans bought other systems. 4. Modified PS2 engine doesn't make me happy. Modified FF13: Versus engine does. 5. It doesn't make sense to me. I like games to advance.

KH is a lot bigger in America. X360 confirmed.

How ironic because thats one game supposed to be Metal Gear Solid 4.

Shameless: I can't disagree. Versus engine ported to 360 for multiplatform KH3 release.

Why would konami of all developers leave the wii?

Pro evo 2008, despite being released after the other versions, has become a smash hit

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

If they have a similar developmet time line as Final Fantasy XIII and start right after Final Fantasy XIII is released, then Kingdom Hearts III will be out just in time for Holiday 2012 ... Everyone's a Winner!

Heh, yeah, I think it starts right after FF13: Versus is done, so it is a ways away.
