Forums - Microsoft - Fisrt batches of NG2 review out.

All I wish for is that the camera won't give me vertigo like NGB did. There are only two games that gave me that feeling... Half-Life pre-patch (a pretty common problem if you're old enough to remember 1998) and the Ninja Gaiden games on Xbox.

This is definitely a primer for me on Gamefly before I tear into MGS4 so it will be interesting to see if I keep it for a month (Warhawk) or a week (Condemned 2, what a letdown).

Sounds like its just an updated version of the original. I was hoping the issues from the first NG game would be fixed, still worth playing though.

Seems like the commenters seem to think these reviews are of the review build, and the camera and frame-rate issues are being fixed for the unfinished retail release, or so says team-xbox.

Anyway, I expect Sony fanboy marginalization(Edit to be clear: because this is a 360 exclusive, not because Sony fanboys are worse than other fanboys) by cherrypicking the games-radar review, and the main talking point will be "bad camera" despite the fact that said fanboys don't own Xbox 360's and never have, and in fact can't actually play the game for themselves.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Probably gona have to get a 360 again when this launches. Only thing it needs is a better story. The best of its genre by a mile in my opinion

Please keep fanboys out of this thread, bringing them up in the first place won't exactly help keep them away.

yeah, because it's only the sony fanboys who cherry pick.

there was no need for that comment in my opinion.

Nothing will do that my friend. I just like predicting the future when I see it, lol.

That said, the game looks great. After reading the IGN review, I'm excited once again, and I'm gonna get this day one. Trading in Mass Effect and Lost Odyssey for it. Excellent.

I dunno if the Team-Xbox's claims of the retail version fixing the camera and frame-rate are true, but if they are, this game could end up with a 9/10 rating from the Zenfoldor review conundrum.

This did happen before, is the only reason I'm buying it. Go to gamespot and read the last paragraph in the Lost Odyssey review, under editors note.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

I hope Ninja Gaiden 2 is more fun than Devil May Cry 4.

NG 2 will end up with similar scores to DMC 4 in the low to mid 80's.

Ah man, DMC4 is great. I love it. Don't hate. I think NG2 will be better, but DMC4 is still fantastic, and I think your just trolling for flamebait.

We are allowed to have different opinions not everyone liked DMC 4. I found DMC 4 really repetitive and boring. Backtracking through all the same levels with Dante was no fun at all.
