10 million seems like it should be pretty much a lock for brawl.

Brawl could double MGS4 sales.

While I believe Brawl will sell over MGS4, everyone is sorta downplaying how big MGS4 will be in my opinion. MGS4 is going to be bundled in all three regions. Am I the only one that thinks this will tack on an extra 2-3 million? Just look at what it did for Motorstorm, and the PS3 wasn't even selling nearly as well then. MGS4 should do 7 million easy if it gets properly advertised.

Guys, melee sold 6 million on a console that sold 21 million.

Brawl will sell 15 million lifetime on the Wii. Its will have steady legs for years.

I think Brawl. It has so much Hype and has a much bigger base due to the Wii sales. Plus, the Europeans have yet to get it yet making it a much stronger canidate interms of sales.

He wrote "MGS4 will destroy Brawl", knowing that theres no chance of it to happen, the closest MGS4 could get is half the sles of Brawl.

Also, if you expect every fan of the series to buy MGS4, you will be wrong. Fans werent loyal since the begining, sales dropped a lot. MGS>MGS2>MGS3; And consider that PS2 had a smaller userbase when MGS2 was launched, than when MGS3 was launched. I expect the title to sell close to MGS3, because of the small userbase and the declining popularity in the series.

Arguing that the game sold poorly cause of other games, thats ridiculous. As y0ungK!d said, MGS2 launched along with Halo and GTA3, still it sold more than its sequel, while GTA3 and Halo sold less than their respective sequels.
