The tournaments data is saved already on the disc, like the DLC of Professor Layton for example?

Or the data is really DLC?

Wow that's cool, I have liked the competitions so far (all 2 of them) but this is taking it up a notch.

So as fernando says, are we to assume the battle stage and the Topman code is already on the disc locked away? or will this competition require a little download from the MK channel?

Only 1 so far, though I guess you mean that some will require it in the future too.

I like the fact that they are mixing it up myself, the GBA battle stage is so simple it would be easy to do it without the wheel, as it is I have to settle with a 1:08.XXX

wow damn 1.08....I tried to play with the wheel at first in that tourney. started off all good then couple turns and mushrooms later i lost control hit the corners gave up
