We probably do get smart from playing video games since I am currently getting High Honors at school.
Your also very modest............

Just asking but how am I being modest???

Please don't compare me to that nerd. I look nothing like that, honestly.

I certainly hope not

Yellow skin would be worrysome to say the least!

BAHAHAHA!!!!!

I go away for half an hour, come back, and find that the comedic value of this thread is approaching EPIC proportions!!!!!

Well done Sqrl, well done son.

i like how he focused on the "nerd" rather than the "sarcasm detector."

I guess common sense and "book smart" really are two seperate entities.

Perhaps, people in West Virginia should play more videogames.

I've learned a lot about guns and vehicles from video games. I've also learned how terrible American actors are at doing British accents. According to most American games, British people all either have deep scottish accents, or 1800's upper-class English accents, and they totally forget about Wales.

I have spoken to a few people who have learned English through video games, because most games don't get translated into the languages that they natively speak.

Yeah you're right. It's funny how he didn't seem to understand what the other posters meant when it was really obvious.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Games won´t raise your IQ, but they can make you smarter in a way that you practice your reflexes, way of thinking, open your mind, make you more brave and so on. Of course some games could have negative effects on you, but it´s generally accepted that they do work your reflexes.
