I've yet to recieve my band in a box for Rock Band here in the UK, and i should be getting it on Tuesday.

However, i'm hearing reports now that some of those units may be refurbed sets with stickers covering previous serial numbers.

One guy was going to try the penny mod for his drums, but he didn't have to, a penny was already inside!

So, alot of people seem to be claiming that these units are refurbed models which i hope isn't true considering the price of the damn things! I don't want the hassle of having the drums replaced as soon as i get them, i'm already a bit apprehensive about the base drum pedal snapping in half.

Apprantly in the UK, referbed items have to be labelled as such so if this is true then EA could be in abit of trouble.  

So has anyone here heard similar things, or has the drums and can they confirm that these are lies!  

No idea. I'd buy a set ASAP, and if true, find a nice lawyer to join a class-action lawsuit with :)

Nah. I doubt. But if they were then go ahead and sue. You could make big money!! $$$

It makes sense. People in Europe are supposed to pay more than the price of a Wii for this game, so it's only logical that they receive the least quality units as well :P

What was the excuse for the price again? Shipping or something like that?
