Well that's weird. I just realized i can't add again friends i've deleted, it keeps telling me that they're already on my friends list while, in fact, they're not.

I know it's not a major OMFG type of problem but is it gonna be fixed? :P

I'd like to have this changed as well. I accidently deleted awesome-dude-from-Honduras from my friends list, and can't add him back anymore.

Surely people adding and removing people all the time isn't such a huge problem to restrict the system like this?

Yeah, it pisses me off. The three or four users who I can't re-add are some of my favourites :(

I don't really think it is a rule, more of a deficiency in how the interface was programmed. Instead of actually deleting the friend from your list, it seems like it just hides it from your list. Just from knowing what else needs to be done on the site, I doubt ioi is going to fix it anytime soon. Maybe if he finds another programmer he trusts, a lot of the minor bugs would get fixed.

Some people like to run a tight ship as far as friends lists go and do periodic purges. It's quite reasonable for them to have second thoughts, or perhaps a user went dormant and now he's back, or whatever.

It's something I'd like to see fixed, though as said above it's not exactly critically urgent.

If it works as suspected above (simply hiding it from your view) I wonder how hard it would be to have an "unhide" feature?
