I happen to be a big guy (not one of those super skinny type people even if I get to like 5% body fat), so being In the high end of normal would be excellent for me.
Anyways, I like all the games I've played, but I'm really waiting for the boxing game to get unlocked. My upper legs kill after two 30min sessions, one last night, and one this morning. It really works your muscles that help stabilize your body, so it will definitely be a good addition to regular weight lifting.
Also, I love the basic step game, and think that if you could add a platform under the board, someone could make an excellent step aerobics workout like the videos, only with monitoring to see if you're falling behind or making mistakes.
The balance games are great, you just have to use subtle movements. I like the slalom skiing. I'm yet to get through all the gates, but I'm getting better. |
It doesn't use the standard BMI, it called me "Obese" 2-3 BMIs lower. As for the subtle movements, I felt it's the exact opposite, I have to do ridicolous motions for it to slightly detect me. jlauro said: 26 it calls you overweight. I am over 26 and that is what I am called. I don't recall when it calls you obese. It classifies my wife as that. |
I'm 28 BMI and I told it I want to be 27 BMI and it still said I would be obese. |
I find it very strange that your having problems with the games, football headering works perfectly once you get the idea that you DON'T have to move that much, just shift your balance, same goes with Skiing and the rest. The marble game just makes it far more clear which is why it "works" for you.
I think you might be leaning to much one way and then other forcing your body to over compensate making it far harder then it actually is.
The games are good fun once you get the knack
