Sounds like you're going to have a "prove those reviewers wrong" mentality when playing MGS4. That's not a good sign if that's your only goal.

BTW: do you have a link to reviews you've made in the past?

IS MGS4 the cover of OPM BENELUX? Because DAVID SELLS HIS COVERS.

Ask Prodigy_Be (Sven) he is the ex head chief of OPM Benelux and he is a member on this forum.

 Check the forum of OPM Benelux it is closed because members found it out and were furious about it;.

PS:  I am not saying that MGS4 don't deserve that score just that OPM is not anymore what it was before...

You can't call a game story complicated for new players, of course a game like MGS is going to be confusing for first time players jumping in at number 4, hey i was confused when i got MGS2 it took me half the game to piece together what had happened in the previous games and i have just played through it again to remind myself of the story.

I didn't take that attitude until I found myself disagreeing with nearly every review score.

If I have one ability, it's that I form my own conclusions. I generally avoid reviews anyway but since this is going to be the focus of my next editorial, I know nothing of the game more than it has a long cutscene at the end and it's pulling high scores. And I'm going to keep it that way until I'm done playing it.

OPM Benelux never hands out perfect scores. They gave MGS2 a 8.9....

If I recall correctly, 9.6 is their highest score. That or 9.7, I'm not sure...

 Hmm I can't tell...I am sure it is between 9.5-9.7.    I remembered the 9.7 of FFXII very well because a lot of FF fans didn't agreed with it;..
