This is just because the games are so crappy. It takes over 50 million Wii games to equal the fun of only 20-30 million PS360 games. The Wii even comes with 5 games, and people go around breaking world records just gobbling up crappy games and throwing them away. Wii owners will never be satisfied. If it was a real system, it would only take one next-gen HD game to keep them happy. Forever.

Well since it's just US, taking off Wii Play still leaves just over 44 million software sales, still putting it on top.

Hell, remove ALL 1st party and you still get 30-35 million which is more than X360 and PS3.

It would of sold more if I owned a Wii!!!!!!!

Finally ran the numbers for 3rd parties.

1st chart - 7.77 million (4.58 million 3rd parties)
2nd chart - 11.61 million (4.87 million 3rd parties)
3rd chart - 32.67 million (19.60 million 3rd parties)

52.05 million total = 29.05 million from 3rd parties total.

Wii 3rd parties = 29.05 million
X360 total = 28 million
PS3 total = 20 million

makes me wonder what it would be if they included VC
