ps3´s user this was exact wii´s user feel when we see red steel.
And this two games are of ubi soft
i blame ubi soft

haha OMG ur right

but Red Steel, to me, was enjoyable when it came to

its multiplayer aspect. From what i've read, the same

can be said about Haze. Hopefully it'll give the ps3

somewhat of a boost. I'm sure Sony paid some money

for this exclusive....   :/

Many FPS single-player campaigns are average at best. Without MP, a game like COD4 gets an 8, and Halo 3 gets a 7. How can you review a FPS these days without exhaustively playing its MP and describe everything about it? People don't buy these games to delve deep into the plot and characters, they buy them to kill the shit out of each other!
COD4 an 8? On Veteran You can only use 1 tactic. I dont know if anyone else noticed this but I sat in a building opposite the farm and shot about 100 people coming out of a tiny barn. Respawning eneies to make it harder? Major fail. The only tactic used for COD4 single player was, shot the guys in the windows and doors, quickly run forward to next cover. Enemy respawns and do the same again until you get to the building then enemies dont respawn anymore. Got quite boring by the time halfway through. However Halo 3 was not to long (good thing), if you like sci fi has an awsome story, and has great variety. Halo 3 was the best of Halo 1, with the best of Halo 2 but on a bigger scale. I give COD4 6 in single and Halo 3 9.

On topic. I highly doubt this game deserved a 4.5 I have only played the demo but it was better than that low of a score. I'll wait to pass judgement though, and see if reviewers go a certain direction or if it'll continue to be this much of a mixup :P

Lol, 4.5...

No more excuses, I have to buy CoD4 now.

@ aj_hafban you had no excuses anyway

OT: I was truly shocked, and I was really considering getting this, though he is complimentary of the co-op. I will just rent the game instead, see how good it is for myself. in any case, i still think that 4.5 was too far, for me the demo would have got a 6 at the least

I would not say I am terribly shocked by the score accorded to the title. I also would like to say the negative comments are merely a mark of a massive karma reversal. When system loyalists started hyping this title, and started to wield it like a mighty broad sword the backlash was inevitable. Obviously most of those who used this game as a propaganda piece, are going to adamantly deny that they did so. However I can see the appeal of rubbing faces in it as payback.

Basically this title was heaped with accolades, proclaimed AAA, and used to bulk any and all possible exclusive lists. We all say the lists with Haze prominently mentioned as a AAA exclusive title. With a few of the scores coming in the title has no hope of AAA status, and may be lucky to get average marks if bribery is used as a standard business tactic.

Posters aren't attacking the company or the game really. They are attacking their fellow arrogant posters who rubbed their nose in the game for the last six months, and I cannot see calling fowl on them now. This is the price of hubris, and you should take every lump it will be good for you. Trying to guilt someone, because deep down you are ashamed it a pretty vulgar tactic. You talk smack, and eventually you will get a smack down.

Anyway I saw the video a few weeks ago I game my opinion then. Looks like I was pretty close to the mark.

No.  No, it wasn't, except that yeah it was obviously included on exclusive lists.

So the rest of your post has no legs to stand on, and your defense of whatever else is going on, fails.

Most of what I remember were predicitions of low-moderate initial sales and then good legs *if* it turned out to be decent and got decent reviews.  Yeah, go on, rub noses...how pathetic the predictions were.

*rolls eyes*

Now I am reminded of CoD, I might just get the map pack for that instead

Although Haze was never hyped to the level of Lair or Killzone 2 it was still heavily used as a reason why the PS3 was going to see massive sales in the Wake of Grand Theft Auto 4.
