Wait, this can't be right. Everyone knows you can't sell 3rd party games on the Wii. This report will certainly discourage developers from wanting to develope for the Wii - NOT. And it's not even a kiddy game.


I wish they would be more specific. We know Capcom shipped like 1.1 million of RE4 by the end of 2007. I know that VGC has them a little higher than the shipment numbers.


I think Capcom generally releases an all-time million-sellers update at the end of every calender year. So you'll have to wait just 7.5 months!

Most companies don't just release all their unit sales every single quarter.

Pretty weird to see minor discrepancies between their platinum titles list and the numbers they report in those sheets. And Resident Evil 4 Wii is indeed overtracked, around 150k in Others and 300k in the US. Umbrella Chronicles isn't that much overtracked, maybe around 70-100k in the US and 20-30k in Others.

About an older title, Resident Evil 4 PS2 is at 2M in this list while Vgchartz has it at 2.59M. Unless there is some budget edition released for the title that isn't included by Capcom in their figures it seems a bit high on Vgchartz.
