To heterosexual men who think homosexuality is "bad": Imagine, by some obscure and random event, you had the outward appearance of a female. Now, your mind is unchanged: you are still attracted to women. However, every woman you approach rejects you because to them it would be homosexuality and that is "bad".

Now, obviously homosexuality != having a gender-biological sex mismatch, but to "them" it is perfectly normal and natural to be attracted to a certain body type and they have no idea why anyone would think it is "wrong" for them to do so. Then your kind of person rejects them based on what is their own natural state.

I always laugh at this idea. When will people come to the blatantly obvious realization that homosexuality is just like other tastes you have.

Most people like chocolate to varying degrees. Some people, like my brother, hate chocolate. To me his lack of choco-joyment is abnormal. Should he be chastised and beheaded due to his dislike of something that 95% of the world population likes? Maybe, but the fact remains that he was born that way. i.e. it is in his genetic code, that which defines EVERYTHING about us, to not have choco-joyment.

Same thing here. People are born with certain basic likes and dislikes. Sexuality is definitely controlled by genetics. It tells your body how to produce various hormones which have been proven many times to have a direct affect on you personality. Why do you think most gay men are better at fashion? It isn't a stereo type because it isn't mostly true.

Its genetic and an abnormality in the literal sense of the word, i.e. not normal. Is it wrong and should it be pushed out of our society? No. People have the GOD GIVEN right to decide the path in life they see fit. No where does any religious literature say we should punish this behavior. It does suggest that it is frowned upon, but anyone using religion to condemn these actions should actually follow their religious book's directions and do nothing. Let God be the judge.

This sort of intolerance happens all over the world only the US/Canada and Western Europe allow it openly. In many Muslim countries people do not even have the right to freedom of belief, if you switch relgions in any country with Shariah(Islamic) law you can be killed. I understand why people are intolerant but people need to work together to come to a better understanding.
