Well, Socom has declining sales, with recent installments selling significantly less than Fable.  As far as I am aware, the Socom hitting this year is online only, doesn't look that hot, and is joining a console that already has Resistance and CoD4 and will have MGS4 by the time Socom hits.

Fable on the other hand sold VERY well (this site doesn't even include Lost Chapter's sales), looks sexy as, is both on and offline, and no current gen console has a game remotely like it...........

Explain again why you being wrong in this case makes me wrong?

 

 

That sentence there reminds me of Little Big Planet... but i seem to recall you saying that the game won't do well...

 Well i couldn't comment on the sales of fable 2 (since i never played the 1st one or owned a xbox) since i do not own a 360, and i think you should do the same since you do not own a PS3...

You must admit that you overly bash the PS3 for no good reason... I mean you got banned twice recently for that very thing...

Actually, everything you said there was quite wrong. 

Paragraph 1:  I haven't bashed LBP once to my memory.  I have often said that it will either sell wonderfully (if done and market right) or terribly (if done and marketed wrong).  Personally I like the look of the game, but it is far from a GUARENTEED system-seller, just as BK3 isn't sure to sell consoles.

Paragraph 2:  Are you implying that noone has leave to comment on a system they don't own?

Paragraph 3:  I got banned once for taking an off-topic thread off-topic (go figure) by Rocketpig.  I got banned a second time by Naznatips, for trolling unrelated to the PS3, which was a very minor offense which he considered banable due to my just having returned from a ban.

Ah i see... Oh well!

I do think that people shouldn't bash systems they don't own, i mean i only own the PS3 (for the moment) but do not bash the 360 or the wii... i don't see the point really!

Anyway, didn't mean to offend, just thought you were bashing the PS3 for no reason!

I actually have my eye on LBP.  I wouldn't buy a system for it, but I make pick it up if I get a PS3 early next year.

I actually have my eye on LBP.  I wouldn't buy a system for it, but I make pick it up if I get a PS3 early next year. 

 


 I think i may have to get the game on launch, it just looks like so much fun! And thats what R&C gave me on the PS3, so something like that again would be great!

I know you are picking up a PS3 for FF Versus XIII, reason enough to get one really lol. I bought mine as i knew i would have to anyway because of FF XIII etc

Lol.  The PS3 still costs $US650 here in Australia.  Thats a hell of a lot of money without any BC or rumble.  So even though I know the console will have games I MUST play,  I can't bring myself to buy it until I have too, in the hope it will get one, or even two price drops.

I know what you mean mr, the console is £299 here but the 60GB can still be found here and there if you are prepared to do the looking!

I think it is very overpriced in OZ, but then again the entire gaming market over there is! I mean being able to charge almost $100 AUS for a game is madness. I refuse to pay anything over £40 let alone that!
