Forums - Gaming Discussion - What it's like to work at EA

Found an interesting article about someone who works (or worked, not quite sure) at EA, did not have a very pleseant experience

A 90 hour week with no after-time!

Nice. I've heard nightmare stories about EA before and while that story doesn't really surprise me, it's still ridiculous that they expect those kind of hours out of employees.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

I think it's disgusting, makes me glad that Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony are focusing much more on first party this generation. Takes away some of these pirates money.

my nieghbor down the street used to work for EA making the lord of the rings games and helping with simcity awhile back, he work all the time he even tought me some stuff so i could hlp him work and he'd take some time off (id get a couple free games for helping him)

I've seen Gameone on gametrailers.com If you watch this EA = Heaven.

Fanboys are always going on about boycotting a company because they need to go multiplatform. I'd say we should boycott EA, bring down their revenues (and therefore their profits) and hopefully they'll layoffsome people, get them out of this hell.

It wouldn't be that hard for them too get a job (SCEA are contantly hiring people... CONSTANTLY), as they're are may companies out there, and at least they'd have working at EA on their CV.
