I used to be seriously addicted to burnout 3. I played over 400 hours of that game. I still play burnout 3 sometimes mainly for the party crash mode.

For me it was the original Buldar's Gate (PC). That was awful, for months on end every day it'd be like 'Okay, I'm just going to play for 1/2 an hour.' next thing you know it's 4am. I lost so much sleep with that game it was ridiculous.

Currently I'm finding Fire Emblem:Radiant Dawn pretty addictive too. Playing it every chance I get.

I got addicted to MGS3:Subsistence. In a little less than a year i had put about 1,000 hours into the online mode, beat the single player game a half dozen times, and gotten most of the high scores on the boss battle theater and Snake v. Monkey mode :P

I was on Alexander and on one of the best NA linkshells in the server. I met the leaders in the Maze when we were all first starting and just stayed friends with them from then until I finally quit for good.

And yeah, definitely know about what you're talking about where leveling can get a little tedious. Luckily not a lot of people know how to play SMN well so that gave me the excuse to try a lot of different play styles and have a lot of fun with the job. It was a lot of fun when I hit 70 and started doing all SMN parties or being invited to normal parties as a damage dealer.
