I bought Mario Kart Double Dash! for my Gamecube on 20/11/2007...and I still play it o.O I have another games I bought recently but I still play MKDD!

i know it will sound strange but here goes
i was addicted to Quake3Arena
specifically one map, the longest yard, which i played, for hours every day, for maybe a year(not online but with bots) until i could beat nightmare with a 20:3-4 score
even my parents thought that was unhealthy
the others are a link to the past,and chrono trigger which i beat twice every year
but true addiction? that was quake3

FLYFF but then it just got a bit boring , maybe KH2 as well.

Where are all the wow addicted ??? I thought there were many !

OT, I've had a few games that i've really latched on to. the only constant is MGS, which about once a month i'll pop in 1, 2, or 3 and play through it, but when i originally got each of them they were each my sole preoccupation for at least a month solid and then still quite a bit for about 6 mos. the only other games that come close are FFVII, VIII, and XII, in which twelve got the most of my life, my final save had over 300 hours total play time, not mentioning the numerous times i'd go back to a 20 hr earlier save and redo whatever i was working on.

I was addicted to SMG until I was able to get all 242 stars.

My first real addiction was Zelda:Ocarina of Time. I beat that game...I don't know how many times.

Since then I've been addicted to Alpha Centauri (I still play that game today), Everquest, World of Warcraft, Sim City 3000, Sim City 4, Rollercoaster Tycoon, and the Phoenix Wright series (too bad the game has 0 replay value, I need more!). There are probably others, but I can't think of them right now.

Counter Strike, Starcraft and Tibia.
