Personally I remember having a Commodore 64 in the womb..but I think that may have just been a traumatic nightmare as a child ....not totally sure.

In all seriousness the NES was the first time I really got into gaming, other games before that but it was the first console and game(SMB/DH) that really had me sitting in front of the TV for hours...granted I was like 3 and my parents were able to turn the console on and I would be content watching Mario play the levels on his own...but I was captivated nonetheless!

To Each Man, Responsibility

one day in the mid 80's i was watchin my bro play a game called cauldron on the c64 (i believe) and begged to have a go, a request which was granted to me, i fell in love with the game and played it so many times i lost count although i don't think i ever finished it. A few months later i recieved a largish present for my birthday which i unwrapped and found something called a nes with two games, one called super mario bros and the other was teenage mutant ninja turtles. My rents hooked the nes up to the tv and popped in the mario cartridge and gave me the control pad, a mass of colour appeared on the screen, i pressed a button then the most catchy tune ever played through the speakers, i held right on the pad and the rest is history..........................

nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)

as i was growing up my next door neighbour's older brother had a SNES. whenever he was out me and my friend would spend hours upon hours playing DKC, the lion king and mario kart. although i found out recently my mum had a NES for tetris when i was very young ^_^

Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)

I played my parents system (computer?) when I was old enough (4). It was a Texas Instrument. Eventually, things like the NES and Gameboy came out.

My friend had C64 at mid-80's and got interested in gaming playing with him. And after that i had to get my own gaming machine. There were a lot of Master System commercials, which bought me into MS, after months of asking my parents to get me one, i finally asked my grandmother if she would buy me... A NES. Since i was her first grandkid and the boy she never had and therefore her favourite grandkid (my first name actually is the same that she would have given for her son), she didn't dare to refuse and bought me one. After my friends visited me and we played the NES, everyone had to have it.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

Did anyone alse here ever play my first console? The Sega Master System 2?

I think the first console for me was the NES and the first game was I played was the Mario/Duckhunt combo and I think I was around 4, or 5 at the time. That's what started it for me, I've been gaming ever since.

The first games I played were on my dad's Intellivision in the early 1980s--Asteroids, Burger Time, Frogger, etc. A few years later, my brothers and I got an NES and Dragon Warrior, and the rest is history.

My First Video Game System was the Sega Master System which I got for Christmas the year it came out. I don't remeber which was the first game I played on it though

Sony: PS1 (8), PS2 (60) , PS3 (5), PSP (12)
