My Dad used to own a commodore 64 and he had a few friends that did to so he would get games for it off them, we had like 50 to 100 games, some disks had 3 or 4 games on em. So I’ve been playing games before I can even remember!!! I used to play this game called bambino puzzle all the time but I don’t even remember it, Mum and Dad said it was my favourite game when I was little! Then I used to play this motorcycling game on it that was also on the Sega, it was really awesome! After that we got a new computer and I started playing Ultima 7!!! And then from there I went onto Age Of Empires 2 a little before that I got a N64 and a game boy pocket. So PC gaming for me has always been about the Ultima series and the Age Of Empires series and consoles have always been about Nintendo. I had a friend who had all the segas and the original nes and snes so I used to play the sonic, the lion king and this California game where you can skate or surf and all that. Good memories
If at first you don't succeed, you fail
my momma came home with an nes one day hooked it up i saw her and my older brother playin mario and i wanted to play lol that sums it up right there
I got a N64 for Christmas with Super Mario 64 and after playing it I was hooked! Thus beginning my video game addiction....
Currently Playing: Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Smash Bros for Wii U
Predictions:
Super Mario Galaxy will pass Super Mario 64 in total sales CORRECT!
We got a PC when I was 3 and a half.
I was pretty smart as a child

Hehe, and people say that computers are too hard to use compared to consoles NOW.
Tease.
My father worked at Coleco, so we had the Colecovision and practically every game that was released for it and all of the peripherals. I was gaming before I could read. Also, we had an Intellivision, but I only played two games on that: Pitfall and Slalom Skiing.
We became a Nintendo family after Coleco went under. We did have the Genesis, but it hardly got any play time. I think Toe Jam and Earl, Battletoads, and Mortal Kombat (with the blood code entered) were the only games I played on it.
While on the topic of retro gaming, did anyone else play Blackthorne for the SNES? That game was one of my all-time favorite SNES games.
My End of 2008 Hardware Predictions (console only):
Wii : 50 million
360: 28 million
PS3: 24 million
These predictions were made on January 3rd and won't be revised

Was that first one Castle Adventure? If so, that game rocked. More so even than Alley Cat. It introduced me to the world of roguelikes.
Also, I got into gaming when I was about four. My uncle gave our family one of his TRS-80 Model IIIs for my sisters to use for schoolwork, and a bunch of games on cassettes. It was a 48K dual disk drive all-in-one (apart from the tape player) monstrosity. I used to play this game, Hangman, Chess and a bunch of others I haven't yet added to my game collection on it. I also used to build my own games in BASIC, so I credit it for introducing me to the world of programming too.
My parents owned a 2600 and an Osborne 1 before I was born, so I grew up in a household with gaming from birth.
That said, while I don't really remember playing the 2600 that much when I was really young (so I've no idea what the first game I would have played is), I didn't get into PC gaming until my Dad bought an IBM XT clone in '88. The Osborne 1, while it had some games, were either text based or too complex with their ASCII dungeons for someone who was 3 years old to grasp.
Well, my brother got me into it, I don't remember how he did, but I practically had been watching him play ever since I remember. Then I started playing something on the SNES, I forget what, coulda been mario at first^^; but I remember play Megaman X :3 Honestly, I don't remember getting past the first level, but it was fun. lol, and since then I've been an avid gamer^^; (did I use avid right? I dunno, sounds right, but I forget exactly what it means)
The Mother 3 Fan Translation is done! Everyone go get it right now! (Mother3.fobby.net)
