I doubt the PS3 will pass the 360 in this year, but 2009 is a different story. They'll have many of their big releases next year. FFXIII should be paid special attention to, since it is probably the only thing that could boost the sales in Japan.

the 360 has a huge userbase in NA, a price drop by MS in NA will will hurt the ps3 chances of coming back. Like i said, to pass the 360 by next year, sony need japan badly, thats their weapon and they must do anything to fix taht ; price drop, smaller ps3's , better games, colors, they need and fast.

PS3 and 360 fans keep taking pot-shots at each other because we can no longer see the Wii fans way out in front and therefore can't involve them in the fray... while the "Wii" folk casually trot toward the finish line, we PS3 and 360 advocates wrestle with each other in the dirt.

I rather enjoy the irony of people declaring the PS3's success as coming as soon as some sequel to a successful franchise is out, yet each time one of those games comes out, the system only gets a brief boost and then returns to past sales levels... Meanwhile, "non-games" like SingStar are released, get slow-but-consistent sales, and an actual more-or-less-permanent rise of PS3 units sold is seen. For all the laundry lists of games ending in 2, 3, and 4 brought up by those declaring when PS3 "dominance" will begin, it's the unique titles hated by the most vocal PS3 demographic that are actually the system sellers...

its not really a fact until the end of the console war. for now its just your opinion. Also if i were you i wouldn't get so cocky. Try comparing ps3 exclusive list of games to xbox 360 exclusive list of games for the 2008-2009 year.
