Perhaps they will remix a new version closer to release time

I just seems like C and C/red alert games lost their soul when westwood got bought out. Im sure this game will be a technical masterpiece but all the EA ones just seem to be missing something that the westwood games had.
Not really impressive graphics. The water is nice, but the rest is.... not great. Dawn of War 2 and Empire: Total War seem to have far better visuals than Red Alert 3.
But visuals aside, I heard the last few C&C games aren't brilliant, so I doubt this one will be too.

If you want to blame someone or something for breaking the C&C series, blame Westwood and Tiberian Sun. Completely unbalanced gameplay (Nod homing artillery of Death FTW), nonsensical plot even for a C&C game, and really forgettable music - not even James Earl Jones could save that wreck of a game.
Compared to Tiberian Sun, C&C3 is a freakin' crown jewel of RTS games.
