It is more profitable to release a game on the pc then the wii, for a huge amount of reasons (correct me if im wrong obviously).
Firstly no royalty fee's
Secondly a far larger casual market (the games that sell to casuals on the pc are even smaller games on average then wii casual games).
Thirdly digital distruibution. Steam has 15 million users. You don't pay physical distribution costs etc and hence its cheaper. Steam is only one of many.
Finally massive indie scene (bigger then all the consoles combined). You don't need to be a huge developer to release something on the pc.
the main pc game is just sims2....
the purpose of the pc is not gaming, also, most people prefer to play games on consoles.....
also, graphics on pc are bad (even WoW), except if you have a good system, sometimes it's slow and the controls are more than awful!! :p

lol I'm pretty sure that if you put your mind to it that you will see that there are millions of PC gamers.
For the types of games that people are labeling "casual" nowadays, the PC wins (epically) for obvious reasons. Ditto "indie" games, largely due to Flash and browser-based games.
But for the types of games I think you're thinking about, ssj12, I think it's very arguable. It's certainly not the landslide you seem to believe it to be.
