Also, he shows off the costume change for Pit. I don't think you can pull that off.

Can't wait to see the screen evolve (Or maybe not).

If I do post secret stuff uncovered, I'll go ahead and post a HUGE Spolier Warning.

I believe it.

Holy crap, I never saw the video. This is very exciting :)

Currently playing: Civ 6

If you see this(and I'll post it in the beginning and end of the post), you have been warned.

Yeah it will be interesting to see how it changes.

A funny debunking of the rumored 35 character leak

It could be from a demo though...

Unless the demo's had access to the Classic Mode in single player, which is why he chooses stocks and difficulties, I doubt it.

Quoting myself to go through what my friend and I have been discussing on options. This may get a bit confusing, so stay with me:

There are currently 21 characers on the screen. The only characters updated on the site not on the screen are Sonic and Snake, which puts us at 23. Now, assuming my odds chart is reasonably accurate; Luigi, C. Falcon, Ganondorf, Jigglypuf, Ness, Mr. Game & Watch, and Lucario are all locks. That puts us at 30, which as you know isn't divisible by 3 (with the random square). So, if we assume no rows are added, that means we'll need at least 3 columns added, which (because of balance issues) puts us at a minimum of 32.

Now, 32 seems a bit low to me, and I doubt it. So, when exploring other options, my friend and I realized there are 2 most likely options. These are 35 and 39. 35 would be achieved by adding 4 columns total, and 39 would be achieved by adding an extra row and an extra column. The boxes would shrink, but they are bigger than they were in Melee anyway.

Edit:  Realizing the rows don't have to be the same length, I would say 37 is another likely number.  3 rows of 10,  a 4th row of 8, minus 1 for random.

I doubt that they would make a whole other few characters just so that the character selection board is symetrical
