something crazy like voice chat and a free headset in each copy
I predict Lucas's special moves....tomorrow!
For today, we get a new item.
For the last update of the week, we get the Norfair stage.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
Norfair today. Lucas's special moves tomorrow as Ben said. New Assist Trophy as the last update of the week.
Let's see if I have suddenly become psychic or if I get any of these right at all!

could be awesome for adults, but for parents that buy this for your childrens/teens this be dangerous for the pedophiles, for that in each copy is difficult, but voice chat compatibility could be nice, they add voice chat for pokemon so voice chat in ssbb isnt impossible.
I don't get why Nintendo can't just advertise voice chat capabilities would only be offered to those who exchange friend codes.
If we're allowed little stupid pre-written chat phrases before a match, which I am DEFINITELY going to fill with things like "Ass" and "F***" just for the heck of it hehe...and I'm certainly able to do so with friends...then why not just add voice as well?

Well I definitely got my predictions wrong hehe.
Update: Meowth
Meowth. It’s considered a major Pokémon, but it did not show up in Melee. It now makes its first appearance since the original Smash Bros.
Meowth appears!
It unleashes a slow coin barrage!
They call this Pay Day, but it’s not like it’s getting any coins out of it.
It doesn’t appear to be throwing the coin on its forehead.
Huh? That definitely appears to be a coin on its forehead, but what do you suppose they call it in Japan?
Maybe if you check the Japanese version of Smash Bros. Dojo you can find out...
Update: How to use the Wii Remote
Believe it or not, but you can use four controller types with this game! But everyone seems to wonder the most about how the Wii Remote works when held sideways.
Please allow me to explain.
+Control Pad : Move
Press left or right to walk and press up to jump.
If you’re in a real hurry, press twice. Press left or right twice to run and press down for a short time to fall through some floors.
Press sideways twice to dash!
2 Button : Basic Moves
Just press the button for a standard attack. Press it while pressing a direction on the +Control Pad for a strong attack.
You can perform smash attacks in one of the following ways:
Just pick whichever one is easiest for you!!
Press the 2 Button at the same time you press up, sideways, or down!
1 Button : Special Moves
The direction you press will determine what kind of special move you do.
You have four special moves depending on the direction you pick: neutral, up, sideways, and down.
B Button : Shield
This is in a kind of hard-to-press area, but the button for your shield is near your left index finger.
To dodge, hold down the B Button and press in a direction.
To grab, hold down the B Button and press the 2 Button.
To throw an item, hold down the B Button and press the 2 Button.
Using the – Button is the same as pressing B Button and 2 Button. Grab away!
A Button : Taunt
That’s all!
Right now, to grab a Smash Ball, you have to beat on it—not just touch it. Don’t forget!
Be the first to pummel it!
When you get a Smash Ball, try a standard special move. In other words, just press the button for your special move without a direction. You will then perform your Final Smash.
This is the same for all control schemes, so keep that in mind.
On October 18 at the E for All (Entertainment For All Expo) in Los Angeles, people will be able to play Brawl. And (perhaps boldly), it will be available for play with the Wii Remote. Is that really going to be OK?
No need for concern—I bet you can play it quite smoothly and simply...maybe. How about a little mental training before the time comes when you actually control it?

Good info...though you'd think Sakurai would realize most of us know all this after watching videos from the media summit.
From press impressions, for most, playing the Wiimote only sounded acceptable. The B trigger being too far away, as well as using the minus button were both a bit annoying, but not unbearable.
I think I'm gonna use GC or Classic controllers....I'd like to use all Classics actually, because I'd rather use Wiimote rechargable batteries instead of either wired GC controllers or Wavebirds with regular AA's...but whatever, I'm sure I'll figure it out somehow...
Actually...now that I think it through, I'd like the nunchuck and Wiimote combination best probably. I like being able to play standard style, but with my hands separated for comfort.

Well, I lose haha. I actually think I'll do pretty well with Wiimote only controls. I am used to playing JUS (a brawler) on the DS with nearly the same controls.
Wiimote-only controls make me REALLY want a Smash Bros DS.
It obviously can hold up fairly well in place of analog control, and it appears to work fine with a limited amount of buttons.
It could have N64-ish graphics...but I'm sure the DS cartridges could hold plenty more characters...at least as many as Melee. Wireless, WiFi, probably multicard play, it's totally possible! Argh!
