Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Super Smash Bros. Brawl Official Updates

^I had seen the article on IGN, which also had the online comments.

Hardcore players should take note that the game's being designed to stress "easiness" over the small details of combat, in an attempt to make the entry level for playing the fighter even lower than before.

So far, we had the "hold button instead of mashing" and "easier tether recovery".
No complaints here. Even back in 2006, they made it sound so negative.

I haven't made a prediction yet in this thread, sooooo; I think that we are over due for a stage, although there could also be an item update.

Item, unless he decided to give us Lucas' moveset.

I predict the beam sword tonight. Come on people, be specific with your predictions!

Somebody guessed a new character for yesterday's update...but cmon...someone guesses a new character for almost every update.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Specific eh? Fine, I predict.... The MOTHER stage! It's not going to happen but I can dream. >_>

I predicted Captain Falcon for Friday....

When I have a gut feeling, I go with it.

If you want, I'll go with my "Lucas' moveset".

He will show off the normal b and side b.

Mario will be in one of the screens, as well as Ike.

Sakurai will mention Ness in one of the moves, describing that it is similar to a past one, but could be interpreted as Ness being in or Ness being out.

Is  predicting a Ridley lair stage specific enough for you? Hmm? Hmm? Mr. Picky
Note: I'll revert to saying that I predicted a stage if I'm wrong on what type of stage it is.

I'm listening to the Wii-kn review on IGN, and they were talking about Brawl vs Galaxy. Both Matt and Bozon are looking forward to Galaxy more, though they admit that they will be playing Brawl for years to come.

I just wanted to mention that Galaxy is, once again, back on my number 1 spot.
I just saw a ton of screens from the Micromania Event in France, and I got all hyped up once again.

Unless Sakurai reveals another 3rd-Party Character, Galaxy is not coming down.

Let's see... I predict an item (Star Rod) for tomorrow with Luigi appearing sometime this week. Probably won't happen, but oh well...

Currently Playing: Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Smash Bros for Wii U

Predictions:

Super Mario Galaxy will pass Super Mario 64 in total sales CORRECT!

Brawl just can't be knocked down for me. Even with the possible lack of Ness, I've been looking forward to this game since the Wii was announced more than anything. This is game of the generation for me.
