yay another boycott thread

Seriously though, i agree 100% its about time China was sanctioned by the UN for all the human rights abuses and what theyve done to tibet.

And then China will say:

Ok and after that we will sanction the USA for what they did with Chinese people 100 of years ago, what the Australians did with the Aboriginals, what the USA citizens did with the first natives, what Europe did with the Africans, what UK did with the Tibetans. Etc...

 lol, probably, however some of the things you mention happend in the past. Tibet and China are happening now.

 True, but they will not pick it that all those countries could go away with it without sanctions and that it was okay to do it then but now when china it is doing it is not okay.

But Tibetans are hardbelievers  China have done a lot for them the last decennia.  Give them more freedom (like they can have so many children as they want when the ordinary chinese can't,  they build a lot of modern schools, stations, roads etc,  invested in a lot of companies).   In fact China can gives every Tibetan 1 million bucks and they will still not be happy the only thing want is the Dalai lama.

The strange thing though is that the Dalai lama can ask the Tibetans all their money and let him suffer from hunger and the tibetans still would take it. Everything for their dalai lama their god;

Isn't the United States a Republic? ....I'm not the most educated on the subject, but that's what I thought it was. People always say "democracy" but I thought republic was the more proper term for our government.

It's both.

It's a consitutional republic that is structured as a representitive democracy.

The terms republic and democracy really aren't that different and overlap a lot.

Most people think of Democracy as the ridgid "Direct Democracy" only, however this isn't so.

Beijing 2008 Olympics starts in just under 50 days times. I wonder if the Olympics in Beijing will be under threat of terrorist attack?

Well that is what I said, they only want Dalai Lama.

Well that is always the case with 'immigrants' I see a lot of muslims around here opening typical muslim stores, building moskee's  all of those are not typical Belgian so the Belgians could say the muslims are destroying their culture;
