LostWinds is great, but too short. I feel all fuzzy and warm inside while playing it :D
Of FF:CC I can't speak.

Maybe they are trying to discourage Square Enix (right?) from making any more Wii games. I heard somewhere that FFCC sold like 2.7 million or something, I'm not sure. Gamespot has no credibility anymore, not for the past 3 years. They changed GTA' rating, they gave Smash Melee an 8.9 (not a big deal, but if you add up all the numbers they gave it an average them off, it's a 9). They fired that dude after the Kane & Lynch fiasco, and they DO NOT REVIEW WII GAMES WELL.
If I were to check the Xbox360 section over there, I would see every game released has a review. If I were to check the Wii section, even a game that has been released just has its RELEASE DATE posted up. They never reviewed DBZ:BT3 and a slew of other games. The only thing they seem to review is Virtual console games. There is no relevant news on there and whatever they have is just ripped from IGN news, just worded slightly differently. They'd love to announce Nintendo's stock dropping, even though stocks go up and down ALL THE TIME.
As for the forums over there, I'm glad I left. It's like having a phone conversation with Helen Keller (no offense to her, she was the only blind/deaf person I'm aware of).
If a game has no hype, there is no review. If you don't throw them cash, don't expect a good review.

A shame. Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles: My life as a king (wow, long title) is awesome. I personally would rate it above No More Heroes, and equal to Zack and wiki is you mind the price. I have not downloaded DLC.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS
Lost Winds is lovely, yes it is short, but it is also priced accordingly for it's length.
Mario Galaxy cost me £35, and I completed it (Mario + Luigi) in about 40 hours, LoZ:TP took me 70 hours but only cost me £5 more, however I would rate Mario Galaxy above LoZ any day.

I haven´t downloaded Lost Winds yet, only FF:CC so far. If somebody likes simulation games and wasn´t expecting a typical FF game then he´ll have a very good and addictive time. Sure it has some minor graphical glitches with night scenes and the character avatars are limited, but it´s a Wiiware game and takes only 256 blocks plus another 10/20 blocks for the downloadable content. For what it´s meant to be, it´s a very nice title.
Gamespot mentions that a downside is that you can´t go on the dungeons yourself and fight like every other FF game, that proves they haven´t even read what the game is about and haven´t realized that creating 20 and more explorable dungeons with different monsters would very well need much much more blocks, something that subsequently would remove it from the Wiiware platform.
I've lovingly called it "The curse of the crystal"
Every FFCC get's marked down because it's a crystal chronicle, I've noticed if it's not numerical FF it's going to be scrutinized up the wazzoo. I mean FFXII was horrible but they ate it up, FFCC DS was basically the same core game flow as FFXII minus the higher application of FMV's and CGI yet FFCC DS did get love but not like FFXII.
I want to see if they did something special with FFCC:CB
I'd say they should dedicate 1 disk to a massive story and another to the more traditional FFCC with expansive game play online.
I believe the director for the FFCC:MLATLK is the director for FFCC:CB *they really need to shorten their names*and he is a big online game play fanatic, he wanted it in FFCC:WiiWare (FF:Ww) but it would of taken up too much space, I also heard their is another add on coming, heres hoping they make the town bigger >.> On hard mode they give you way too many buildings for that size town.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.

I got a second scene with the real dark overlord in chapter 3 and I know that your title is very correct ![]()
I do agree that all the non-main FF get judged without stress/anxiety by the biggest reviewing sites/magazines. I can´t really say if they actually get marked down or if the main FF get marked up, but it´s true that a main FF will always score 90% and over in gamerankings even if it´s not worth it.
What I do believe that most big reviewing sites think like, is the following: okay, that´s the next main FF so we are pressured in giving it an amazing score. Oh, this is a FF spin-off so we shouldn´t praise it as hell in order to avoid the fanboy label.

FFCC are poor games compared to the proper installments.
And FF12 is one of the biggest depatures from traditional JRPG gameplay ever (at least for a huge game like Final Fantasy). If you've played both games, which I doubt, you are just making shit up.

I've played all FF games (main-series and spinoff) with a couple small exceptions like FFXI, and I consider FFXII a horrible game. Not just a horrible FF game, but a horrible game. In fact, I consider VII, VIII (except the card game), and X mediocre as well.
That said, FFIX is one of the best RPGs ever made. So is FFVI, but when FFXII:Revenant Wings, a spinoff, is better than most main series FF games, there's a problem.
