LostWinds is a great game for $10.

GameSpot screws up another review.

GameSpot is the worst popular reviewer on the internet, and I've known that for a loooong time.
They're "tough on games" just to drum up hits...

Wasn't Lost Winds receiving near universal acclaim? I've seen only 8's and 9's for this game.

The Good:
* Unique control scheme
* Some gorgeous environments.

The Bad:
# Lack of energy
# Too many ugly environments
# Only three hours long
# Sometimes unresponsive controls
# Lacks personality .

Bah.

I haven't been able to tear myself away from FFCC:MLaaK for the past 4 days to play anything else. There's not a ton to the game, but I've really been enjoying it. My money was well spent, whatever anyone else thinks.

LostWinds is the only game I played on Wiiware and the 2 reviews I read were 8.5 frmom IGN and 5.5 from Gamespot.

Both missed the mark as the game is a perfect 7...not more, not less.

Why isn't anyone pissed about the IGN review giving it more than it deserves? lol...

Sorry, but a 7 is still below the current average. Right now it's at 82, including Gamespot's garbage review. Why should we be pissed IGN gave it .3 higher? Honestly, I don't really care about these stupid review scores anymore, but I think one situation is a bit more deserving of our anger than the other.
