 Well in defense of that, the dev team stated that all the detail actually made it hard to see, such as too much mud flying around.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Agree. They should quit all crap like this. Motorstorm looks very solid but it's nowhere close to E3 teaser.

I didn't play original Killzone but Killzone: Liberation was pretty cool. It was a bit hard (I believe they did it on purpose - on easy difficult you can pass through most of levels during 5 minutes). Multi provided extremely cool gameplay though. 

I'm extremely excited about this title.

I agree Kber, I hate when CGI is passed off as in game footage. This needs to stop. While I'm on the subject, Ubisoft needs to stop touching up screen shots for its games.

Motorstorm looks nothing like that E3 footage that was shown, and I highly doubt Killzone 2 will look anything like the E3 05' lie. However, if it does manage to look that amazing, it could easily become my new favorite game. I don't have my hopes too high for this game because I don't want to be let down.

And I hear the budget for this game is around $21 million, not 40.

Graphics will be outstanding be sure of this. Not like teaser but still. I expect at least Gears of War level. They shold keep the budget as low as possible. $40 million is insane as for a game, maybe they counted in also upcoming commercial campaing. Sony is trying to make this game as hyped as Halo.

It should look as good as Gears if not better, but Killzone games of the past have shown me that this series is really a joke.

Could you amplify this a bit? You meant gameplay, storyline, everything maybe? I wonder. This game (Killzone 1) is a best selling console game ever in my country. Personally I like climate of this franchise.

HAHA as good as gears. This game has been stated to be "better than the trailer in parts", that statement was made by Guerrilla months ago. This game will piss all over gears in the GFX department. The gameplay however is what I really want to see. How fluid will it be? What framerate? and what scale landscape?

I'm not saying that Motorstorm is a bad looking game but its target renders were far better than the real game. Expect Killzone 2 to fall short of the trailer and to look similar to Resistance; you will probably aviod disapointment and may end up pleasantly surprised.

Resistance? Nah. Resistance looks MUCH worse than Gears. This game will be definitely on the higher level.

BTW... you've picked up really poor "real" screen
