wow... so little love for Street Fighter on VGChartz.. :(

Only day 1 for me is wii fit. I rarely by on day one, as there is generally someone doing some promotion with major games, and so I will wait a couple days to double check reviews and game forums and get a better price instead of paying MSRP...

The reason why Wiifit is an exception for me... it will be sold out everywhere. Other games, if they are sold out, it's only a matter of a week or two at most. It might not be a long wait for wii fit to be available, but given the hardware portion of it, and Nintendo not being able to produce hardware fast enough, it could be months...

(Did have several first week purchases this year...) 

This year I bought Mario Kart Wii, GTAIV(360), Tales of Rebirth (PSP) (for my gf) and Tales of Destiny:Director's Cut (PS2) (also for my gf) on the first day.

I'm planning to buy first day:

1. Ninja Gaiden II (360)

2. Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk (Wii)(for my gf) 

3. Gears of War 2 (360)

4. Tales of Vesperia (360) (for you know who ;-p )

5. Dragon Quest IX (DS) (Will definitely make me buy a DS lite!) 

I will buy on first day in 2008:

MGS4

Resistance 2

New prince of persia

Haze(not much choice when it come to Co-op FPS with good story)

Gears of war all the wayyyy

and maybe Ninja gaiden 2 if it has good story line this time.

Already bought SSBB and Mario Kart Wii the first day out, but for the rest of 2008, the only thing I can see me buying the first day is MGS4.

For me, it would be:

MGS4
Little Big Planet
Haze 
Resistance 2
and Gears of War 2 (If it makes it this year)

I don't know how people expect to be buying Killzone 2 this year.
