Oh, and don't worry about third party support on the Wii anymore. Every third party in the world just saw these numbers, and as soon as they can reinstall their jaws they will be announcing some stellar AAA games that'll make your head spin faster than Sony's PR department. Blammo!

I sincerely hope not! If 3rd party devs have still veen waiting till now to join in it means another 1.5+ years wait while they make a game.

Oh I meant... IN ADDITION to all the kickass games that are already out, already in development, or already announced.  Although, this just might get us some new WiiWare games with shorter development cycles.

There are always a few late bloomers.

My god, you're like the prodigal son that I thankfully never had. I see you're changing your tune just in time for the NA release of Wii Fit. Maybe now you'll learn to stop believing all that pablum Rol has been feeding you.

CEO Perspective

“Clearly, the tremendous legacy of Grand Theft Auto on PlayStation, combined with the blockbuster launch of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue packed a one-two punch with consumers at retail this month. The proof is in the numbers and, in April, PlayStation 3 hardware sales experienced a 127% increase over April of last year. PS3 momentum is fueled by enthusiasm for Blu-ray as the definitive high def standard and the growing number of consumers gearing up for some of the most anticipated titles of the year, exclusively for PS3, including the June release of Metal Gear Solid 4, and other great exclusives in the second half on the year, such as Resistance 2, SOCOM: Confrontation and LittleBigPlanet to name a few. With exciting PlayStation Network innovations and our strongest console-driving titles of the year still on the horizon, PS3 remains on pace for a breakthrough year.”

I wish people wouldn't troll or brag so much over nintendo winning. I mean there just numbers right. I loved the gamecube even if it didnt sell the most, why? because the games kicked ass and im sure the same thing will happen with the 360 and ps3. They might not be first but im sure quality games will come out for them because of first party support.

This console war is really different.  It's not just about games anymore.  If it was just about games, we'd all be winners, because all 3 systems have great games, just like in the last generation.

But this time there's this HARDCORE vs. CASUAL battle going on, and somehow I'm a traitor!!!  I'm a traitor because I prefer the Wii for games and gameplay and I'm not "a casual."  Hahahaha.

I have nothing but sympathy for PS360 gamers who prefer PS360 games and are sad to lose marketshare and thus 3rd party support.

But I have nothing but super-lulz for PS360 gamers who feel that their way of life is threatened.  Wii Fit is coming, and nobody's gonna make it out alive!  Run for the hills or be waggled and balanced to death!

JUST FREAKING AMAZING! O_O
The Wii is just killing everybody this year. :D
Back to back non-holiday sales of 700k + :D HELLS YAH!!!!!!!!

LMAO @ the PS3/X360 decline.

WiiFit will be 2008 #1 selling game in NORTH AMERICA!
End of '08 Predictions: Wii - 48m X360 - 25m  PS3 - 19m
Wii monthly NA sales will top 400k every month in '08. *Jan sales ruined it. Grrrr!*
WiiFit will top 1m in sales in its first month of release in North America.
MGS4 will NOT be released in '08. *Darn it!* FF13 will NOT be released in '08.
Rockband Wii will top 600k in first month sales in North America.
WiiFit will pass the PS3 WW sales by Xmas '09.

I wish more people were like you.  Personally I still plan on picking up a PS3 soon and am sure I will enjoy it regardless of sales.

Personally, I'm not bitter that the Wii is winning on a hardware front. I'm bitter that the previously popular types of games that I love have absolutely zero traction on that platform whatsoever and that for many reasons beyond just graphics, those games won't end up on the Wii because they don't fit into that market.

Which types of games are those?

Go ahead and click on my profile. I've added 160 of the games I own so far (no PC titles listed yet... don't know if I'll ever be up for tackling that mountain).

Changing my tune?  Hell I was calling the Game Boy "THE REVOLUTION" when I first played Tetris at age 6!

I'm even wearing SMB3 underoos man!

(Yeah they barely fit anymore, but Wii Fit should give me my 7 year old physique again.)

My apologies, celine. I looked for some good No More Hero footage to futz around with, but, alas, I did not find any ample for Gif-age.

You'll have to make due with this ...
