Well it's about time, unless they want the gaming division to become a weight on Sony's back until the next generation starts.

Sony confirmed by the end of the year $299.99 Blu-ray players. That being said, that means the PS3 will get a price cut by the end of the year. Basically this means they are waiting on the 45nm CELL and 65nm RSX.

Actually 20gb HDD cost even more to produce than 40gb HDD which is one reason why they replaced 20gb SKU with 40gb SKU.

The majority of those games are either big question marks or probably not going to make it out of Japan in 2008. Either way, the core titles that the 360/PS3 is offering this year really makes the Wii's "core" list look small and irrelevent. Core gamers want big AAA titles with alot of credibility behind the developers, it really wouldn't make sense to just name a bunch of games that are not rated E and have violence/ weapons and assume it hardcore gamers will flock to it. In this case, there are plently of hardcore games on the 360/PS3 that sucks, such as Gundam crossfire, bulletwitch, turning point, defjam, vampire rain, etc.

Wouldn't more recent news in light of newly released infomation override this previous statement?

1. Any evidence? Or just your opinion?
2. So, Capcom, Square Enix, Konami, Tecmo, Ubisoft, Crystal Dynamics, InfoGrames, Monolith, EA, Namco, Chunsoft, THQ, and High Voltage (the developers of those listed games) are all non-credible developers? Well, I guess the PS3 is pretty much fucked, then... unless you mean to say that they're 'incredible'
3. The only point I see here is that people will buy quality games and leave shitty ones out. Do we disagree on this or something?
