Hmm just checked Metacritic and they havent even got it listed yet and its out in less than a week. MGS4 is out almost a month later and they already have that listed. Hope they didnt forget about Haze!

What are you talking about?

Famitsu are crap reviewers. The Orange Box and Haze are so far apart, it's laughable they gave them the same score.

Famitsu isn't a crap reviewer just because of this example. Haze and the Orange Box are two incredibly American-oriented games. It's absurd to expect Japanese reviewers to know how to score these games on a fair scale. And how do you know that the Orange Box and Haze are so far apart? Sure, it's more than likely, and the Orange Box is amazing, but Haze hasn't even come out.

Usually they list games which are coming out soon. As you can see from the link, no Haze listed yet, which is just a bit surprising considering its out next week, so they should have had other reviews by now.

If you didnt know, Metacritic just takes every known review of the the game and reports the average.

good for Haze, i cant wait for the full game, the demo was aces.

It is there. Scroll down a little and look to the left side side until you see the Upcoming & Recent Releases section. Haze is there in that list, unless you're talking about the middle section where they have a few games with the box art right next to it. Also Haze is on the front page of metacritic.

Yes I did mean the front middle box art section. You can at least see why it was hard to spot as new releases are usually in the middle section. Oh well its there, but no reviews yet besides Famitsu.

Its possible that thats true but how the hell do you know that already seeing as the game doesn't release for another week.

I knew haze would be good

Fixd!

As most people have already stated, Famitsu aren't a great source for reviews.

Famitsu reviews can be pretty biased, especially if the mag has been paid off by sponsors.

Beware some of their Square Enix reviews in particular. I remember they gave that DS game (the Sword of Mana sequel) a really high score, and the game was total crap.

Even so, as a general guide they are usually pretty accurate.

I'll have this game next Wednesday in Japan. Anyone up for some online co-op?
