It does look like i was implying that, i admit, but that wasnt the point i was making, seeing as year on year sales for the 360 are higher this year
I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

I was talking hardware too

this thread is pointless. heres why!!!
1. 360 will sell more games only because it has more people owning the systems... a 6 million difference means more games. thats the only reason.
2. Wii sales more games then both anyway so who cares.
3. attach rates are BULL SHIT!!!. ps2 had the lowest attach rate and GC had the highest...... that means all in all GC did good right?? NO FUCKING WAY. all 3rd parties went to sony as all of them WILL go to wii this gen.
Your an xbox fanboy if you think anyone looks at attach rates more then SALES of the console. WW the xbox is getting beat by ps3 and wii and thats where the games will go.

I was under the impression that the Wii is not a good place for third-party developers.
Third-party developers are actually making more money off the 360.
Xbox 360 titles accounted for $186 million of all third party game sales this generation, or 53% of share. (April NPD data)360 GTA IV may be outselling the PS3 GTA IV by one million copies. But PS3 GTA IV has a higher attach rate and PS3 GTA IV will have longer legs.

longer legs... why? because you say so... jeez. |
Look at his signature, it explains lot. PS3 version of GTA IV is already fading off, and 360 version will start to increase it's lead now week to week. That's cause larger userbase is starting to effect later sales after the release. PS3 version have lost it's chance already.
I don't bother listing my last-gen games (PS2, Xbox, GC) to my collection cause there's too many of them. ;)

doesnt matter about the past. All the devs are going to the wii in the future. But if by some CRAZY reason no 3rd parties go to the wii (which nintendo will have prolly double sales of both HD consoles so it will make no sense not to) and they make more stuff on a HD console... it will be on ps3 and 360 as there are few big non paid exculsive 3rd party games on 360 as it is so far this year.
You must take into account that those games are all games that have been worked on for 2 years.... if wii doesnt have the most 3rd party support at E3 THIS year ill quit playing games forever. Not many new exculsive 3rd party games was announced for 360 this year so far.... but E3 will tell the whole story.

Revenue is not synonymous with profit. Don't forget that, by all indications, it costs substantially more to produce a game on the 360 than on the Wii, so a proportionally larger amount of that money will be eaten up by the overhead (this is probably an extreme example, but GTA IV alone cost $100 million to produce).
