But what about world wide. Not everything is based on the good old US of A.The WW attach figure is "only" 6.43. Still good but even you have to admit the 360 is losing ground in the console sales to the PS 3 and is being destroyed by the Wii. They need to do something drastic about RROD. I would have bought a 360 if it was reliable but I do not want to wait around for weeks while my console is being fixed.

Still the 360 is losing ground every where. Europe, the US, and japan. so it might be starting the downward slide as many think.

Well software wise in the Other's region don't sound so good. PS3 is almost equal with it, and will certainly pass it when MGS4 is released. This coming from a console that was released about a a year earlier should be worried.
In the US, yeh there's no denying that its a beast though.

the problem with Xbox360 future is the wii owners just like me and many others if they want another console it'll be for sure a PS3 so yes Xbox360 will have a big problem in a future if MicroSoft doesn't come out with somethin' new.

Gamecube - sold 208.47 million games

Sold 21.74  million consoles

 Attach rate = 9.59

 

(For reference Wii is on 6.08, PS3 is on 5.48)  

 And yes, the console with the lowest hardware sales at the end of generation usually has the highest attach rate

I dont know why people stray off topic, 360 software sales are still incredible. But obviously those who want a 360 have 1 now, and are racking up their gaming library

Or it could be that bigger userbase = more games sold

for example, a console with 5 owners is going to sell more software than a console with 1 owner isnt it?

In the same way a console with nearly 19 million owners will sell more than a console with nearly 13 million owners

 Yeah ofcourse but there is no denying that the average 360 owner is buying more games than the average ps3 owner.

And i didn't like you original comment, you were kinda implying that there are no more people that want to buy a 360.
