I want a 360 too...but not at this moment. One big thing that scares me is the build quality = all the reports of red ring I read make me hesitate. I'm looking to buy the 65nm processed 360s this fall, hopefully better build quality, less power cunsumption, more quiet drive and a possible price cut. The price I pay in Canada doesn't quite justify for me yet.



crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.

And of course Live, will be looking forward to dominating the leaderboard on NHL 08 or 2K8 whichever turns out better.

Oh, and bought Guitar Hero, and have seemingly crippled my left hand for life now, that game is ridiculous, addicting, and all around awesome, like you didnt know that already.

 


I'm a semi-shooter fan. Halo is pretty cool, though. It brought me into the genre in the first place. Not planning to buy Gears, though. Waiting for Halo 3 to finish off the trilogy. So what Xbox 360 did you buy? Core, Premium, or Elite? What game did you like the most?

Also, how on Earth did you get it for free? That's awesome!

Shame...another poor soul wasting there money. Be sure to pick up the blu-ray add-on when it comes out.....and it will come out.

Blu-Ray add on? Now there's an idea. That could happen. Then people could have Xbox 360 and Blu-Ray! By the way, cat boy got his Xbox 360 for free.

If it comes out Sub 200 bucks, like the HD DVD addon, i sure as hell will.

Cashed in Airmiles

In Canada, we have a program called airmiles, where you earn points for shopping at certain places.

One of our main grocery stores, generally has a sped $150 get 400 airmiles deal, in addition to many buy this = get 50 airmiles. So on a typical grocery bill of 150 buck, i earn 600 to 800 airmiles

800 airmiles = 100 dollars at zellers
