God I love the 80's

Hahaha. MUD games ftw. The frustration that resulted from seemingly impossible tasks is spot on.

"You are eaten by a grue"
haha! xD
"The grue is a sinister, lurking presence in the dark places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale."
A long time since I've heard that word.

*snif*
I'm just a few years too young to have played that stuff. Some of my friends still owned Commodore 64s and Amigas when I was a kid, but weren't playing them anymore. ;__;
At least I remember the golden days of adventure games with Lucas Arts and Sierra.
here is my question.... if someone had actually managed to have made a Guitar Hero game when the C64 was big, would it have sold? god i hope so.
Games I am looking forward to:
PC: Diablo III, Fallout III, Stacraft 2, Spore, Empire: Total War, American McGee's Grimm
360: Madden 09, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead, Blood Bowl
“Go ask [Blizzard president] Rob Pardo if PC gaming is dead – if he can take the time out from making money hats, I’m sure he’ll give you a really eloquent explanation of why probably the most valuable entertainment franchise of the moment is PC-specific.” - Gabe Newell
The commands are wrong. You don't just play the fret buttons. You hold down the fret buttons, while you flick the bar. No wonder that player kept screwing up.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
