Star Ocean is a Square Enix game, this is Atlus so unrelated. I don't see a developer attached to it, so I'm assuming Atlus themselves are making this? But the announcement and then quick release sounds more like they are only publishing it. Atlus publishing a flood of 360 games all of a sudden. It really looks like the 360 is the only current gen console where the JRPG ball is firmly rolling finally. And the two Japanese consoles are lagging behind.

still don't see the relation... that could work if the studio was the same... but I don't see why because one studio does an exclu another on with no relation what so ever is bounded to do one....

But it says a demonstration of commitment to that system meaning 360. So why would they then do SO4 on PS3 if they are saying commitment?.

No Tri-Ace do. But by that same logic you can conclude that Star Ocean 4 is going to PS3, here's how: Tri-Ace is making and SE is publishing Infinite Undiscovery, a 360 exclusive. So SE/Tri-Ace then releasing Star Ocean as PS3 exclusive makes some sense. One for each, new IP for 360 and established as a PS brand Star Ocean to PS3. That's how I see it anyway.

Atlus has nothing to do with Star Ocean!!!!!!!

Edit: That commitment crap is PR talk, put more stock in that Atlus is now publishing 3 360 game all coming this year.

 So is Zoids to my knowledge.  Still it's Tri-ace.
