You and I have very different views on the world.  As far as war goes, take a look at all the wars of the last few hundred years. http://www.warscholar.com/Timeline.html. The USA is in very few of them. The USA did not start WWII or WWI. War was declared on us both times. We entered Vietnam after the French lost there. We entered Afghanistan after the Russians bombed the shit out of them for 20 years. War is everywhere, and not something the USA has any monopoly on.

As for the economy, the US is the only government I know of where the only thing keep you from being successful, is yourself. There is no class system here. If you are born a poor black kid, or a rich white kid, the law treats you the same. Every option is open to you. Now with a system like that, the smart can use it to become very rich, but that's the nature of giving people the freedom to succeed or fail.

The USA is, in my opinion, the greatest form of government ever conceived. It is a government of laws, and not of men. The first of its kind.

What law forces people to make $7.15 an hour? If that's what you are making, it's because that person did not take advantage of the resources available to them.

I would agree with you if we lived in a country where based on race or class, you could not go to certain schools, or work in certain companies or jobs, but we live in a country where every option is available to every person. You have no one to blame but yourself if you don't take advantage of it.

The PS3 being so hi-tech is a bad thing? I think it's a great thing. Sure I think it's a bad move buisness wise, but when I get it i'll enjoy the heck out of it. Coulda skipped out on blu-ray but oh well.  I guess your just more a fan of the company then you are the system. 

As for your second paragraph... wha?

Blood for Oil.... I guess that's why I'm paying $4.00 a gallon for gas now. When before the Iraq war I was paying under $2.00.

Vietnam wasn't unnessisary, Afganistan wasn't unnessisary. Iraq was.

America isn't evil. I could name about 50 countries "more evil" then America off the top of my head.

As for the minmium wage thing. Pretty much all of the 360, Wii and PS3 parts are made in China anyway.

Yea, Gas cost way to much, but that's not a political issue. It's because China, and the rest of the world, want it. As the world continues to industrialize, it's only going to get worse.

Supply and demand at its finest I guess.

 $7.15 is Minimum Wage where I live last time I checked. (Long Island, NY). It is a "minimum $/hr" an employeer is allowed to pay an employee. Unless I think the job pays tips or commission.

I am still completing school, so I work weekend shifts at a restaurant since it pays well on 12pm-12am swing shifts. 

You live in the US right? You probably already knew all this then. (Minimum Wage part)

 Yeah, we actually consume way less gas then we did last year. The Problem is China and other developing nations are consuming more gas every year.  Also Iraq and a few other oil producing countries aren't producing anywhere near what they could.  And the Dollar dropping, and people backing other things because the dollar is dropping so hard as a balance agaisnt it.

Yea, I meant that if you are 40, and are only making $7.15 an hour, it's not because the US has somehow oppressed you. It's because you didn't apply yourself in life.  You are a student, so yea, right now it sucks :).

Still better then working in a sweat shop in Korea though!

 No wonder there is so much violence in the USA. People are just protesting against the ruthless system imposed upon them by those greedy US corporations. Minimum wageof $7.15 and hour in the US. In Australia I get more than $7.15 an hour on social security payments.

 I feel so bad sometimes for those people in the sweat shops.

Luckily my job pays well enough for me to keep up with my gaming habit too. That plus my girlfriends income and interest in gaming as well.
