Anyways, the overall is just Ratio Rank + Winnings Rank + Accuracy Rank. Since I'm always #1 in winnings, it is a nice boost to my overall. If I can get within the top 5 of the other two categories, then I can probably take #1 overall.

Also, The overall rank falls under the same limits as the top 50. Right now it is anyone who entered the prediction league in 09. In a month or two, it'll be only those in 5 rounds or more. And depending on participation this year, it may go to more rounds than that.

To win the overall, you'll probably have to have a combined rank of ~15 or less. In fact, I'm waiting for the LTD round to close before I posted this, but here are the 08 overall rankings for the top 50. Until the LTD round comes in, i'm 1 ahead of PDF

When does that round pay off? I'm interested, I didn't bet much, but it'd be nice to get $1000 more

According to previous year, I lost to kirby in overall ranking, so prudence tells me I should not take the the bet. Whatever, I'm not one to take advices from prudence, anyway

the round broke somehow. (don't ask me, I don't have a clue) anyways, I've been asking talonman to fix it, but personal life and a really cool new VGChartz feature have been keeping him from fixing it. Once he gets it fixed though, I'm going to start doing quarterly hardware LTD rounds

That sounds cool, though I tend to not bet too much in the long term rounds 'cause the payoff takes too much and I don't like seeing me with little money. Still, it'd be nice to have them

there are a few people, like TWRoO who like hardware a lot better than software, so it would be something catered towards them.

Also, another point on who beat who in 08. You were 10 spots back, and 11 of them came from accuracy alone. If you manage not to put lots of 0's in again I think it will be much closer.

Well, I did it twice last year, this year I already did it once but thanks to the amazing nordlead it was fixed. So, unless I really have bad luck and you can't fix it (please, don't let that happen), I shouldn't be worried.

And I don't have a preference for either, hardware is much easier to predict but often yields less winnings, yet usually in longer periods there's more chance for the average to be wrong, so maybe it'll be interesting
