Rare on Banjo: “Crown jewel gameplay mechanic” to be shown in US tomorrow

Speaking to videogaming247 this morning, Rare community manager George Kelion said that the leaked Banjo shots from tomorrow’s MS Gamer’s Day don’t show the meat of the game.
“You can’t tell altogether that much from the screenshots other than the fact that it’s pretty,” he said.
“We haven’t revealed the gameplay mechanic yet, which is the crown jewel of the game. So people really are better off waiting until tomorrow when we’ll be revealing it in-depth.”
Kelios was at pains to tell us that the rather beautiful next-gen version of the bear’s adventures certainly isn’t a racing game. Just so you know.
Banjo will be shown to the press at 5pm BST in San Francisco tomorrow.

What do you mean by Spring Showcase? A lot of those games are in different seasons of release and in some cases different years.

The games at the event tomorrow are all supposed to be 2008 releases.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
I like the Viva Pinata 2 screens. I have only seen one of the Banjo screens though.
