According to this article, it takes advantage of the PS3, but does not say it's exclusive. It does however, say that its purpose is for artistic reasons, not for genre reasons. 

 Well I would think it would be easier to use the gamecubes skies of arcadia engine the, and then port it up to the ps3 if they wanted a ps3 release. 

I actually found a couple Wiis available today at Toy R Us when I was getting gifts for my little cousins. God, I was so close to pulling the trigger mostly because of this rumor. In the end, I held myself back and decided against it. My wallet thanks me.

 SO you are saying just , because the ps360 are more powerful, the wii can't have a good rpg. That bs. My favorite rpgs are from the snes era. Are they outdated? Oh and do ps2 rpgs suck now? I'm surprised I just saw this post now. 

Yeah, I would definitely get a Wii if this rumor were official. Like Riot, though, I would be a bit disappointed that it didn't come out for the PS3. It's not that the game will suck on the Wii because of lesser graphics or that all old RPGs suck because the graphics are now dated, but now that we've seen what the PS3 and 360 are capable of (especially when you look at Valkyria Chronicles), it would just be disappointing to take a step back from that level of detail, especially if the game doesn't have worthwhile Wii motion controls. Great controls could make up for the graphical difference, but without the controls, the game would just not be much of a leap forward.
