Forums - Nintendo - new Terry Wiffit promotional video. Best promotional video EVER yet

Nice, this game must actually be pretty good if people are rearranging their living rooms to play it.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Two things I have noticed about the game:

1/ We basically need to rearrange our living room to play, some of the games take a LOT of space (push-ups, dancing)

2/ Sort of need a "gym towel" near the balance board. Because everyone plays barefoot, after a few people getting sweaty on it... it really does need a wipe down.

Played the "balance" game yesterday, and it involves "jumping" (you crouch down, then shoot up - do NOT jump!). It would be too awesome for a Zelda game, it really would.

i take it that if you jump will you break the board

no, but you aren't doing the balance board any favours by jumping on it.. however, in the games that require "virtual-jumps" (which were explained by shams), if you do jump, it immediately stops the exercise and gives you another warning message (it says at the begining of all activities involving 'jumps') about not jumping, and quits you out -- it does this to make sure you get the point and don't do it again, and don't just keep jumping

I have to admit, the first time I did the balance... I DID jump (a little one), completely by accident. The machine didn't scold me, but I did feel like a fool :P

I didn't do it again...
