I love the online mode as well. I actually find myself playing more battles than I thought I would. I am not using the Wii wheel even though I like the way it's controlled. I just feel Wiimote+Nunchuk is more natural to me and it's easier to pull out the stunts/wheelie just with one hand instead of 2.

I'm constantly referred to on this board as brash, obnoxious, and overly-opinionated. I'll give you one guess what country I'm from.

I was never a fan of racing wheels, I hadn't tried them much though when I had they just didn't feel right. Anywho, I decided to give the wheel a go before going to the analog stick and well, long story short I've never touched the analog stick when it has come to Mario Kart Wii. I love it. I think the big difference for me is that the wheel isn't glued to a stand, so I'm free to move and react much like I'd do with a gamepad.

I use the Wii-wheel only for MK. It's great fun:) Waiting to get the golden wheel status online;)
